Upmann cigars have been manufactured since 1845. A German banker by trade, Herman Upmann was sent to Cuba to open a branch of the bank he was working for. He very quickly fell in love with the country and its cigars and decided to give up banking and produce his own. Still popular today, Upmann cigars are one of the milder smokes available from Cuba.
