Cronin’s Sheebeen is headed up by father and son team Colm and Simon Cronin who have a long and distinctive history within the hospitality industry and over fifty years combined experience between them.
Colm owned and operated the highly successful Tower’s Bar and Restaurant close by for over thirty years prior to its redevelopment in the early noughties and also owed and operated a number of other property, food and aquaculture businesses over that period.
Simon as well as co owning and operating Cronin’s Sheebeen operates Cronin’s Teach na N’Ol in neighbouring near by Louisburgh, Co. Mayo. Simon spent several years studying and working across several different hospitality businesses in both the UK and Ireland.
Anthony Printer is the head chef at Cronin’s Sheebeen and is in charge of all aspects of our food offering
Anthony brings huge experience to Cronin’s Sheebeen and has a broad CV that’s spans across working in three stared Michelin restaurants to many high end hotels and restaurants across the west coast of Ireland, London and Dublin.
Anthony’s cooking style is authentically fresh and simple and he’s uses only the choicest fresh local (where possible) ingredients to prepare his dishes.
Anthony’s aim is to provide the highest quality food for diners using the best locally available produce to reflect the area “We have great local produce and it doesn’t need to be over complicated the mantra is keep it fresh, simple and let the food and it’s flavour speak for its self – great food doesn’t have to be over complicated or over priced”
